Ornate Wrought Iron Balcony in Lake Forest, IL
B20Ornate work usually means round bar and scrolls, but on this Lake Forest balcony the detail is built into square bar instead, powder coated satin black. The result is decorative without tipping fully traditional, a good fit for a larger home that wants some richness on the facade.
When a home already has wrought iron elsewhere, a new balcony usually needs to match the level of detail, not just the color. Square bar lets us carry an ornate feel while keeping the lines a touch more current, which matters on a house that is traditional but not period.
It is powder coated for the weather and built to the same residential guard code any home follows: 36 inches minimum, openings under 4 inches, confirmed locally before fabrication. The wrought iron is fabricated and installed by our own crew in Lake Forest and across the metro.
Matching a new balcony to ironwork you already have is one of our favorite puzzles. Send Signature Metal Works photos of the existing pieces and we will match the feel.
