Ornamental Wrought Iron Railing in North Barrington

North Barrington runs to larger homes on bigger lots, and a staircase in a house like that can carry a more decorative railing without looking crowded. This railing is ornamental, built in square bar and finished in satin black.

Ornamental work usually lives on round bar, but square gives the decorative elements a more modern, architectural edge, a way to get detail without going fully traditional. It is a good middle ground for a newer estate home that wants some richness but not full Old World.

Satin black lets ornament read clearly without glare, and indoors we paint rather than powder coat, primed first for an even, durable coat you can touch up later. As with everything we make, the wrought iron was templated on site and installed by the crew that built it.
