Minimalist wrought iron railings painted satin black in Barrington

A homeowner in Barrington, IL had a beautiful stairway in their home that seemed dated due to the old-fashioned country style wooden railings. They were looking for a lighter minimalist style that would make the space more airy, but still be durable and attractive. They reached out to the design team at Signature Metal Works who knew exactly what to do.

They came out and carefully measured the space, which was particularly challenging due to the curved design of the railing. They then went back to the workshop and fabricated over 21 feet of custom metal curved railing with pickets going into the steps. The pieces were primed with a coat of gray paint and then finished in satin black.  Once everything was ready, the team coordinated delivery and installation of the railings.
