A client in the bustling Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago had reached out to us to create a custom wrought iron winder staircase as part of the renovation of their 2-story condo building. They were concerned with the finished structure blocking the view and light of the large windows behind the staircase, so we created a minimalist modern structure with a wrought iron support system and cable railing. We incorporated wooden steps and handrails to match the hardwood floors of their home and ensure that the final piece looked warm and inviting. The metal elements of the structure were painted black. The customer loved the finished installation, which will serve as a functional and beautiful addition to their home for many years to come.
